Styling a Graphic Tee

A little over a month ago Arika from A Little Pep In Your Step contacted me about doing a collaboration. After throwing around some ideas we finally decided on showing ways to style a graphic tee using things in your own closet! I loved this idea because who doesn’t love graphic tees?! We both did two outfits each and had a $20 limit on the tee. It’s amazing how many ways you can actually style a graphic tee. I found my tee at Forever21 for around $13 but unfortunately it’s sold out at the moment. I’ll link a few of my other favorites below for you guys though! Here are the two outfits I came up with:

 Look #1

graphic tee(similar here) \ cardigan(sold out) \ shorts

booties(sold out but similar here) \ hat

As soon as we decided on graphic tees I knew I wanted to do something with my fedora I purchased recently. Adding a few accessories can completely change your outfit. I’m loving this whole trend right now with shorts, tees, and cardigans which I recently wrote about here. I think the cranberry and grey go very well together.

_MG_5725 Look #2

graphic tee(similar here) \ blazer \ leggings(similar) \ booties(sold out but similar here)

As soon as I found these leather leggings at Platos Closet I knew I wanted to use them for this look. It’s so classic and I’m a sucker for all black. This look would be perfect for a casual night out on the town or even a fun concert!

I feel like as soon as I bought my stuff and got it all together for this collab it was all sold out! WIth that being said I apologized for that and linked things that were very similar and that I loved. You can make any of these outfits so easy with anything you have in your closet.

I’m so glad Arika contacted me about this and had so much fun doing it. I can’t wait to work more with her in the future. To see how she styled her graphic tee, head over to her blog, A Little Pep In Your Step, and show her some love!
