Mini Ulta Haul

I’m so excited about these products I recently purchased from Ulta. The one I’m most excited about is the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in shade Opal, Oh My Gosh this is beautiful! The swatch above doesn’t do it justice. I’m sure all of you have heard beauty gurus obsessing over this and now I understand why. This is so pigmented and glows beautifully in the light. These are pretty pricey but I’m telling you if you want a amazing highlighter, get this asap! I can’t wait to purchase the other colors. The Hoola Benefit Bronzer was another product I couldn’t wait to get my hands on. I tried it yesterday morning and I wasn’t very satisfied with it. When applying it didn’t blend well but I’m not giving up on it just yet! Also, this is SO pigmented so apply lightly and build up to the color you want. I’m doing wedding makeup next summer and have been searching everywhere for the perfect foundation for oily skins, Allure magazine said this No7 Beautifully Matte Foundation was definitely one to try. I have not used it yet but can’t wait to! Any of you have any reviews or advice about this foundation? Let me know! Lastly I received a free tube of Becca Ever-Matte Poreless Primer. I haven’t tried it yet either but I’m sure it is fantastic!

have you tried any of these products?

  1. Great choice of products! I have the benefit hoola and I love it. I think you have to get quite used to and use a light hand but once you do hopefully it will work better for you! Joanna

  2. Hoola is the perfect shade for a bronzer

  3. I have a love/hate relationship with the Becca primer. I got a sample with my Sephora order a while back, and when I used it I was a little shocked. The texture was very weird– the only way I can describe it is it felt like I was rubbing a glue stick on my face. Also, the more I rubbed it in, it almost started to flake and “chip off.” The thing I do like about it, though, is that it really did control my oily skin and make my makeup apply more smoothly. I doubt that I will purchase the full-sized version, though, because I just can’t get over the feel of it. Did you have any of these issues?

    • I haven’t used it yet but as soon as I do I’ll let you know how I feel about it!!

    • I finally got around to using the primer! I agree with you, it does feel like glue! So instead of rubbing it around I just dab it on my face instead. I think it helped doing it that way! I tend to get oily around my nose area and with this primer I dont so I really love that.
