Makeup Tutorial

Hey guys! So today my post is a little lengthy (sorry about that!). I’ve been asked a million times to do makeup tutorials so when getting ready the other day I decided to make one! I can’t stand hearing myself talk so instead of a video I did pictures for each step. So if you want to see how I achieved this look then keep readying! ( I have all the products linked below!)

I applied this Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation with my Morphe M439 brush. I’m in the shade Desert Beige btw. I usually just pour a small amount on the back of my hand, dab my brush into it, and start dapping it into my skin. This foundation is very matte so if you wan’t a more dewy look I’d suggest applying it with a beauty blender.

Next, I applied my Urban Decay Naked Concealer in shade light in a sort of triangle shape underneath my eye (highlighting). So far I’m absolutely loving this concealer. Another one of my fav concealers is the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer, I use the shade light.

I then take my Real Techniques sponge and blend out the concealer. Don’t make any swiping motions, just stick to dabbing. I usually blend it out all the way to my temples and really get into the corner of my eye. It will help lighten up that area.

Once my concealer is blended I tap some of the Laura Mercier Translucent Powder into the lid then dab my Real Techniques sponge into the powder. I place that powder underneath my eye where I blended my concealer. I don’t blend the powder out, I let it set there for a bit while I do my eyebrows.  BTW, I’ve used this translucent powder and the Anastasia Banana Powder for my under eye area and definitely prefer the Laura Mercier Powder!DSCF1326

To do my eyebrows I’m using the Milani Easy Brow Pencil in natural taupe. Here lately I’ve been using the Milani Stay Put Brow Color Poids (in shade natural taupe) instead of the pencil. I think I like the Stay Put Color Poids better then the pencil. I haven’t mastered filling in my eyebrows yet but I will say it makes such a difference in your look when you do this!DSCF1336

After my eye brows I just use any powder brush and swipe away the excess translucent powder under my eyes! I’m using an E.L.F blush brush, I really like their brushes!DSCF1340

For my contour I used the Hoola Bronzer. This is one of my fav matte bronzers. I think the best way to apply this is by doing a “fish” face so you can see your jaw line. I like using the brush that comes with the bronzer but you can use anything! DSCF1346

For blush I’ve been constantly using the Mac Pro longwear Blush in the shade Rosy Outlook. It’s such a beautiful matte shade! I apply this to the apples of my cheeks using a Luxie 504 Large Angled Brush then blend it up into my contour. DSCF1349

My go-to highlighter is by the Balm and it’s the Mary Lou Manizer. This is more of an ivory highlight. I apply this with a small brush to the tops of my cheek bones, cupids bow, and usually the inner corner of my eye. It just pulls the whole look together!DSCF1356

I swear by this gel eyeliner from Maybelline. My eyes are smaller so stick eyeliners never stay on, by the end of the night it’s always everywhere underneath my eyes. I use the little applicator that comes with it and trust me this stuff stays on all night! I usually never put any on my waterline because I think it makes my eyes look smaller. It I’m doing a smokey eye I’ll blend out eye shadow underneath my water line. DSCF1357

This mascara is amazing! I think it makes you look like you have false lashes on. For those of you that use this for the first time, don’t overdo it. A lot will be on your brush so be careful or you will get it everywhere like me! I barely use any other mascara because I’m obsessed with this. It’s the Better Than Sex Mascara by Too Faced.DSCF1376

For the lips I’m wearing a Milani Lipstick in the shade pretty natural (43). I really love this shade, it’s a good transition shade from summer to fall. I have quite a few different colors in this brand and love them all!DSCF1379

To complete the look I sprayed my face with Mac Fix +. This stuff is no joke and will keep your makeup lasting all day/night long! I also love this Urban Decay Setting Spray as well.

And heres the finished look! I hope you all enjoyed this tutorial and found it helpful! If you want another tutorial please let me know 🙂 suggestions are always welcomed.
